This is the time of year when we have a couple of weeks off and don't know what to do with ourselves. I have to constantly remind myself to do little things like reading otherwise I'd spend my whole time off watching Netflix! I have always been a bookworm, and hoard books like they're going extinct! Even though my Kindle is my travel companion, I miss having a physical book in my hand. When I feel like relaxing, I'm making myself reach for my books more, otherwise I just end up reading them when I go to bed (normally at a ridiculous time) and never really dedicate any proper time to them. I've decided to collate a selection of books to get into this winter- I'm currently reading Gone Girl, but I'm determined to get through as many of these as possible.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Hope you all had a lovely day and took some time to relax! I spent it with my family and Chris's family, and the day was filled with laughter, tonnes of food and games galore! It's been one of those Christmas's where it's been very chilled out, which is nice when you've got a lot going on in your life. But with New Year around the corner, and lot's of exciting things going on next year, I've got plenty to look forward to!

Winter is officially here! Not necessarily in its traditional form- we’ve not seen a glimpse of snow in the Shire! More in the wintery, cold, rainy, windy sense. Not nice. Weather like this really makes dressing a pain, and it normally ends up with me snuggled in jeans, and thick jumpers. That’s all very well when you’re just running errands, but what happens when you actually want to go out somewhere nice? This is my constant struggle. But I normally get over this by standing in front of my wardrobe and having a long hard think. I want to be warm and stylish, and there are two essentials from Apricot that I've been reaching for this winter.
Here's a little day vlog of when I went to the #BUNACSummerInTheStates event, and I also tell you about my travel plans for next year.

Who can believe that Christmas is less than a week away?! Even though I am feeling Christmassy, I’m certainly not ready for it. Let’s just say that I still need to buy the majority of my presents…oops! I’ve just finished work for the holidays, so this prime time to get present hunting! Luckily, I’ve had some help from some of my favourite brands who have sent me some fab present ideas! If you’re looking for some last minute stocking fillers for your friends and family, take a look at my picks below…
It's the time of year when we take pleasure in hot soup warming our bodies. It's a welcome treat to come home to after a cold day and is like a snuggly comfort blanket. Even though I love a good Heinz tomato soup, homemade soup is another treat altogether! You know exactly what's going into it, and it is so easy to make. There are honestly no rules, and you can even make it from leftovers!

This is a bit of a mish mash video of what makeup products I've been reaching for when I've been doing my everyday makeup routine! Hope you enjoy! So excited to be back doing sit down videos :)
Hey guys! This week, I've been to some awesome SS17 press days including River Island, New Look and M&Co, as well as the Vuelio blog awards, chatting to the dog and more! Hope you've all had a good week.
Hey! It's been so long since I've sat down to write a proper blog post. And boy, does it feel good to be back. After my little break away, I have so many exciting posts (and some more giveaways) on the way for you, and I even have a proper shooting day now so I can do photos and videos in bulk...look at me being all professional!
This week, I went to the BBC Good Food Show thanks to The Blogger Programme, received some deliveries and went to the London Film Academy annual showcase film screening to watch a film I was in for the first time!
Here's my absolute fail of a vlogging week...but it does include some food and Christmas unboxings! Make sure to subscribe to see what we get up to next week :)
Here's a little vlog from a couple of weeks back, and I've finally decided to give weekly vlogging a go! Watch out for the first one next week :) I'll still be doing main videos, but thought I'd challenge myself to two videos a week...
Getting away from it all.
It's been a little while since I've posted! So hello guys. I've actually been filming on a really exciting project which I, unfortunately, can't tell you anything about. But let's just say that I've been getting up at silly times of the morning (3:30am was definitely the worst), working all day, getting home about 8:30/9pm and having to go straight to bed to repeat it all the again. So you can see why I've not been very vocal on the internet.
Here's to me covering my face in coffee
The whole coffee scrub craze has been around for a while already if you hadn't noticed. Yes, us beauty obsessed lot will try anything all for the sake of better skin, including putting something that normally gives us a kick up the butt in the morning on our skin. There is some logic in it- caffeine eye creams have had a firm standing in the beauty industry for many years, so why not go the full hog and put it everywhere?!

It's time to slip back into those jeans and tights!
I had a bit of a late start to autumn. As you may know, I hopped on a plane to Cyprus for a couple of weeks recently, and while I was away everyone on social media was getting excited about pumpkin spiced lattes and big scarves while I was sitting on the beach in my bikini! But now I'm back I'm slowly weening myself into the autumn mood.

Let me tell you- this wasn't easy and took a very long while to come around. But I'm pretty confident now, and after going to Cyprus at the beginning of the month, I felt ready for the planning and packing. I'm definitely not perfect at packing, but I've been on a few short and long trips in my time (be it acting work or holidays) that I've found a system that I'm happy with.

What I've been wearing on repeat.
I go through fazes of wearing certain styles and outfit combos non-stop like I'm sure many of you do too. It's like a safety blanket when you need a pick-me-up, and when you're running late, it's got your back. I've always been about comfort, so I'm normally drawn to comfy pieces that show off my best features. When I find items of clothing and styles that I like, I end up buying them in bulk!
I can't believe I've been alive for that long either.
When I was younger, I always used to hate it when our family holidays went so quickly. It felt like we had only just arrived, but before I knew it we were packing up and heading home. That's when I learnt that time flies when you're having fun. And it has. The last 21 years seem like they've flown by.

Hey guys! Hope you're all well and having a lovely week! I'm back with a video about what I got for my birthday! Just a quick heads up, when I filmed this it was the first time I'd spoken out loud to someone all day, so please excuse the craziness and me not making much sense ;)
I got taken to a festival.
I had to let that sink in for a very long while when I got the invitation. A company wanted to take little old me to a festival. This was something I didn’t think would happen, and if it did, when I was a much bigger blogger than I am now. But no, the invitation was there and there was nothing that was going to stop me going, not even a swollen foot (more on that later).
Time to get real about teeth.
I try to be as positive as possible on this little blog. Bad press is never normally welcome after all. So sometimes when a product doesn’t work out for me, I have to do one of two things; decide not to blog about it, or share my experience about it in case it works for someone else. Also, any criticisms I do have may be helpful to the brand to improve their product. So here we go with my first ‘opinion’ post.

It’s holiday time!
Seeing as the UK doesn’t understand that summer equals the sun, I’ve been dreaming of beach holidays lately. I’m actually jetting off in August- not sure where to yet, but the one thing we know is that it has to be near a beach! Whenever I know I’m going off on holiday soon, I like to stock up on some summery bits and pieces to get me in the mood. So whether you’re heading to Bali or Brighton this summer, here are my top 5 essentials for a beach holiday.

The results of a little shopping spree at Boohoo! Including a cute dress, dungarees, bomber and some flippy dippy shorts (yes I just called them that)!
I’ve been thinking it’s time for a bit of change.
This month, I’ll be celebrating my 3rd blogging birthday. I still can’t quite believe that I’ve been writing nonsense on this little part of the internet for that long, but here we are. 2016. I never thought I would be where I am today, and even though I may not have gained major online success (never my intention really anyway), I definitely feel I’ve achieved a lot.
But the blogging world has changed in a big way over the past three years. When I started, it was all about posting regularly, ideally daily, and getting your content seen that way. Now, it's more about the quality of your work, not the quantity, and networking the hell out of the industry! This change seems to have happened almost overnight, slowly creeping up on us and taking hold in one go, taking many by surprise. I've seen many bloggers and influencer's numbers drop and some swell well into the hundreds of thousands and, sometimes, millions!
So it's time to adapt. Change is good after all. I really love blogging and making my Youtube videos, and want to continue doing it alongside my acting, so I came up with a game plan that I'll be enforcing over the next few weeks, months and years to change up my blogging mojo.

I was lucky enough to attend the Blogosphere Magazine Cover Reveal party this week, and this was one of the things in the goody bag! I've always loved Latest in Beauty, so it was great fun rummaging through this little box of dreams! You can buy the You Beauty Box here and can check out more of Latest in Beauty's boxes here. And if you're looking for a Father's Day gift, they also do a GQ box which would be a great gift idea!
HEY GUYS!! Hope you enjoy this little roundup of the shows I've watched recently. Thinking of making these a regular thing, let me know if that sounds cool!

Sometimes there’s a brand that you’ll always hold dear to you.
Be it fashion, makeup or lifestyle, you know that that brand will be special and if you could, you would probably take shares in it. One of those brands for me, is The Cambridge Satchel Company. I remember buying my first satchel and I still use it regularly to this day. I also remember that the £113 price tag didn’t faze me (very unusual) but I guess this was my first purchase where I considered the price per wear. And boy has that satchel come a long way! CSC has some exciting products coming our way, including new backpacks, mini satchels, saddle bags and a very cool collab with a very cool designer.
Summer Colours
Inspired by British seaside towns, the primary reds, blues and yellows are the brightest collection to date! Each colour and style are named after seaside towns including St. Ives, Brighton and Pembroke.
Saddle Bags
The saddle bag is a new addition to the CSC collection, inspired by traditional equestrian design. Great for going out at the weekend or taking on your travels, it comes with a leather tab closure and adjustable shoulder strap.
Cloud Bags
Nicknamed 'the bag of dreams' by CSC, this bag is perfect to take you from day to night with room for all your essentials. The detachable leather strap means you can take it from shoulder bag to clutch in seconds, with the scalloped details proving popular among bag enthusiasts like myself.
Push Locks
If you're hunting for the perfect easy shoulder bag, look no further than the push lock range. From Christmasy reds to pastel pinks, there is a huge selection of colours to choose from. These are clean in their design, also with a detachable shoulder strap.
Magnetic Closure
These bags feature all the elements of a traditional satchel with the update of a magnetic closure. These especially look great on the tiny satchels- how cute are they?!
CSC x Vivienne Westwood
The collab with the iconic British designer is back with two new styles! The squiggle print is available in to of CSC’s best-loved colours; Oxblood and Red, and are available in both the Tiny Satchel and the Small Portrait Backpack. The print is screen-printed directly onto the leather by the British printer who has produced Westwood’s iconic Pirate Boots for over 30 years!
Do you own any CSC bags? Which ones are your favourite from the new collections?
