Sniffy Wiffy Body Scrub

I am forever running out of body scrubs as I use them so regularly! I'm currently using the Palmers Cocoa Body Scrub which basically smells like chocolate *let the drooling commence* but I'm always on the hunt for new ones to try. So I was delighted to be sent a body scrub from the brand Sniffy Wiffy, and presently hopped in the bath to try it out.

Brand
I absolutely love the ethos behind this brand! They are a small family-run company who are dedicated to encouraging ladies & gents to self-check for early signs of breast & testicular cancer. They do this by using clever labels showing how to perform a self-examination as a little reminder when using their products. They make the products themselves and donate money to charity from every purchase!

Packaging
This tub is huge, so you get a whole load of product for your buck! Even though they don't use flashy packaging, I don't think this matters as if they did, it would take away from the message they're trying to put across. Of course, I love the self-examination label- its such a great and original idea! Its very detailed but easy to follow, making the examination a doddle. Unfortunately, I have found that the container does leak a bit. There was a slight discolouration in the box I received it in, but I only noticed it later on. I can't work out just yet whether the container is split or if it's coming from the lid, but at the moment I keep it in pot in my bathroom to catch the leak.

Product
This is a really interesting product. I chose the Vanilla fragrance (they had such a big selection to choose from so it took me a while to decide), and when I opened the container the fragrance was almost overpowering! But I think that's because it was freshly made, and once applied to the skin it calmed down to a lovely sweet smell. The product had separated when I opened it so you have to stir it up a bit to mix it in. The consistency reminds me of when you make your own body scrubs using sugar, so a little goes a long way to avoid it being too harsh on the skin. This scrub is very moisturising, leaving the residue on the skin after washing the scrub off, and it sinks in quite quickly. I still used a body lotion afterwards to give that extra moisture boost, and my skin felt so silky smooth afterwards! I think this would be best used as a luxurious evening treat more than a daily scrub as the residue might put some off if they want to jump out the shower and go.

Will you be trying any Sniffy Wiffy products?

NEW VIDEO: Beauty, Books and Bath Haul!

This is a haul I filmed at the end of last year (can't believe I'm saying last year when it was just a month ago...) but I had to postpone it for a number of reasons which you can find out more about in this video.

But basically its a HUGE haul of beauty bits, books, calenders, and an assortment of stuff from my trip to Bath. Hope you enjoy it!

What's your favourite thing you picked up this month?

OOTD: Just A Little Krush

During winter, it can be really hard to be adventurous with smart pieces of clothing due to the arctic wind blowing outside (in the UK especially). It's just so easy to crawl into a pair of jeans or leggings with a big jumper and hibernate. But IKRUSH are certainly helping me get through that with these gorgeous dogtooth trousers that they sent me! I absolutely adore the pyschedlic print of these- the red lines help break up the dogtooth and they are super comfy! They are a really lovely fit as well; I turn up the bottoms when wearing them with boots and strappy heels to make them ankle grazers. The elasticated waist has certainly helped with post Christmas/New Year food baby, but the hipster cut means that you can see the waistband if you wear tops over it, so your silhouette isn't as streamlined. But apart from that, I think they are an awesome way to brighten up smart trousers!

I love the print clash between the trousers and my new & Other Stories bag I picked up a couple of days ago for absolute bargain in Regent Street! They have a huge sale at the moment with loads of pieces 50% and even 70% off! This was originally £79 but had 70% off so I grabbed it for an amazing £23!

NEW VIDEO: New Year, New Start

So I was really quiet at the end of last year as a lot of things were happening in my life. This is a little updates video about what's been going on in my life at the start of 2015, and a few of my new years resolutions. There are some parts to this video where I'm not my normal happy self, just to warn you. But they are for valid reasons. And don't worry, I didn't cry!

What are your new years resolutions?
