I unfortunately couldn't make any shows/presentations on day 2 of LFW, so trundled up on day 3 (after oversleeping, typical) for my first presentation. Most of the events I was invited to that day were happening at the ME Hotel, which is a godsend during fashion week as they open up their rooftop bar for tired and weary fashion week goers to grab a coffee and charge their phones. After spending some time in the bar with my lovely fashion week buddies; Josh, Lizzie, Kinga, Raahim and Allysha, we headed to the Little Shilpa presentation in the stunning reception at the hotel!

Little Shilpa's AW15 collection was called Feral Nation, which revolves around bringing up the chaos from within ourselves without the negative connotations. Camouflage, in neoprene, parachute silk and plastic, is covered with embellishments, to signify the human spirit. Military style sweatshirts and animal-inspired handcrafted headgear representing our inner feral nature, are showcased together to show how one can tap into their deepest fears and look fierce without loosing a sense of style. They wanted to merge the lines between wear-ability and avant-garde.
We were also gifted this gorgeous brooch after the presentation, which every time I look at it reminds me of the presentation as it really was an 'experience'. The models slowly glided out to us with animal like movements, sometimes standing for a long period of time looking transfixed straight down the camera lenses pointing straight at them (a photographers dream) or helping each other up onto podiums to stare down at us. You left feeling slightly shaken about what you had seen, but definitely in a good way! I took some of my favourite shots of fashion week at this presentation- that's all I need to say!
