Bee Good Cleansing Water

Bee Good are a brand that I've been in love with for a while. I was gifted a moisturiser by them which I used up so quickly because I adored it (you can see it here in my Empty Products video)! So I was delighted when they sent me this cleansing water to try! Find out what I thought of it below:

BRAND
Bee Good is an independent British skincare company based in rural Hampshire, started in 2008 by husband and wife team Simon and Caroline. Experienced beekeeper Simon keeps hives in old orchards surrounding his home, and it was Caroline's interest in using the excess honey and beeswax which led to the first Bee Good products. They've harnessed the centuries-old healing powers of British honey, propolis (the resin collected by honeybees from tree sap and botanicals to fill gaps in the hives) and beeswax in their skin range. Bursting with the finest ingredients, their products blend ethically sourced bee-based ingredients with naturally active botanicals and plant oils. They're passionate about supporting the countryside and bees, and donate a share of all profits to UK bee-keeping causes.

PACKAGING
I love the packaging on this; super pretty with clear visuals showing the British production. The top allows the product to come out slowly, so you don't end up pouring out too much and wasting product. The ingredients are clear, but I did have to look at the press release that was sent with the product to see how to use it as it wasn't entirely clear on the bottle.

Bee Good Honey & Wild Water Mint 3-in-1 Cleansing Water

PRODUCT
I was super impressed by this! It was very cooling going onto the skin and sunk in very quickly. It did a great job at removing my full face of makeup, even leftover eye makeup (its delicate enough to use around the eye area without damaging the skin)! The thing I was most impressed with though was the effect it had on my skin...I used it one morning, and I had a couple of post LFW spots still rearing their ugly heads on my skin. I was also having a non makeup day so after I had done my usual skincare routine I left them be. Later that day my boyfriend asked whether I had popped these spots and I replied that I hadn't (I'm totally against it). He then commented that they had seriously reduced in size and redness- I didn't quite believe him and went to have a look for myself. AND HE WAS RIGHT! I concluded it must have been the cleansing water that had worked this miracle on my skin as I had made no other change to my skincare routine. I was so shocked at how effective it was!!!

All in all, I couldn't recommend this enough! It's certainly replacing my usual cleanser...take that spots!

Have you tried any Bee Good product before? What do you think?

  1. I have a couple of these at home, and I really like using them. Usually, I find cleansing waters to drying or too sticky, but this one from Bee Good is perfect. x
