Christmas Gift Guide: Mums & Grandmas

Avon Make Your Own Magic PJ's

AD - contains all pr products sent to me with no obligation to post and affiliate links marked with ad-aff

Up next in my gift guides we have ideas for mums & grandmas! You could also use this for other female members of your family like aunts and mothers-in-law, but I also have a friends and sisters guide coming your way next week so keep an eye out for that.

For this category, I always like to spoil mum at this time of year, and so some of these gifts might be slightly more on the pricey side, but there are also some great budget options too for under £20.

Take a look at my other gift guides:

TROPIC JOY UNWIND DRUM

TROPIC JOY DRUM

Your loved ones deserve to be filled with a bit of joy, especially at this time of year, and finding joy in the small things (like a good old pamper session) is what I love!

Tropic has brought out these Joy drums packed with a mini pamper treats to uplift, cocoon or unwind. I'm particularly in love with the Unwind Joy Drum (£28) which includes a lavender-infused bath soak, body velvet (one of the best body creams I've tried) and temple roll on to really help the body and mind relax after a long day.

One of the things I love about Tropic is how much they give back and care for this planet and everything on it. For every product bought, Tropic helps give back by using some of the proceeds to fund the education of children living in some of the world's poorest and most remote communities in partnership with United World Schools. So buying this gift won't just be for your loved one, but it will also be helping others too!

They are also double-offsetting their emissions, use responsibly sourced ingredients, have recycled and refillable packaging as well as being cruelty-free and vegan.

Avon Make Your Own Magic PJ's

AVON PJ'S

Buying Christmas pj's is such a fail-safe present, and Avon has some great picks this year! Because who doesn't love getting snuggled up in comfy loungewear at Christmas?!

I'm completely obsessed with these Make Your Own Magic PJ's (£16) (ad-aff) as they are so soft and comfy, not to mention the fact that the design is awesome. I've washed these a few times already, and have also been really impressed with the fact that they haven't lost any of the sparkle or detail in the wash.

The other thing that I love is the fact that these are part of a matching family pyjama range, so you can actually get a mini-me version (£10) (ad-aff) of these too!

I also wanted to give these gifts a mention, as they all give back in some way:

Love, Avon Cancer Care Pack - this thoughtful care pack has been made for those currently undergoing treatment with 100% of the profits going to Look Good Feel Better.

Coppafeel! Candle - 50% of the profits go to the amazing Coppafeel! Charity.

Star PJ's - another great PJ gift option, 50% of the profits are split equally between Refuge and Women's Aid.

Mystery Beauty Box - 25% of the profits are again split equally between Refuge and Women's Aid.

WOODS OF WINDSOR TRUE ROSE SOAP AND HAND CREAM SET

WOODS OF WINDSOR

Woods of Windsor always get my vote for classic fragrances, and they have some beautiful products. I'm particularly a fan of the True Rose range, which actually smells like a real rose and not artificial!

Knowing how much we need to care for our hands after this year, this soap and hand cream set (£6.67) would make the perfect little gift to give the hands a moisture hit!

Their products also contain mainly naturally derived ingredients and are free from parabens.

SANCTUARY SPA CELEBRATION HAMPER

SANCTUARY SPA

Probably one of the best 'luxury on a budget' brands out there, Sanctuary Spa are an old favourite of mine, and always hit the nail on the head with their products and gift sets.

For the ultimate pamper session, the Celebration Hamper (£19.50) is jam-packed with indulgent bath and body products that your skin will be thanking you for! There is such a great range of full-size, medium and travel sizes in here, making it really worth the money, as well as being able to bring the spa to your bathroom...

Sanctuary Spa is vegan and against animal testing, and with easy to peel off labels, you can reuse this amazing box for storing your bath-time goodies in, meaning little to no waste on the packaging front!

LUSH OUTBACK MATE SOAP AND DISH SET

LUSH SOAP AND DISH SETS

As a superfan of Lush's, they are normally one of my go-to's for presents (as well as shopping for my own bath-time products). You guys know how much I adore their bath bombs and bubble bars, so I wanted to show you some different gift sets that they are doing this year!

One of my all-time favourite soaps from Lush is Outback Mate - I just find the lemongrass scent so refreshing! In this set (£22), you get a slice of the Outback Mate soap, as well as a beautiful handmade soap dish made from 80% recycled clay from Granby Workshop in Liverpool. They also do this set with the Golden Pear soap and Honey I Washed The Kids soap

As always, Lush outdo themselves with trying to be sustainable - they are really rolling out the naked packaging (including in these sets), are veggie with some vegan products too, and are completely against animal testing. They also do so much more on campaigning, renewable energy and environmental impacts which you can read about in their Ethical Charter.

BOBBI BROWN PRODUCTS

BOBBI BROWN

Lastly, why not treat your loved one to some luxury skincare & makeup that they'll reach for time and time again? Bobbi Brown has always been a brand that I aspired to buy from, especially when I would watch the older girls at dance shows cracking out their products when getting ready!

On the skincare front, the Vitamin Enriched Face Base (£45) (ad-aff) is a priming moisturiser which really helps prep the skincare before applying base products. I love the fact that I don't have to worry about using a primer when I go to do my makeup, and it feels really light on the skin.

BOBBI BROWN MODERN SYMPHONY PALETTE

If they are more into their makeup, then how about a beautiful eyeshadow palette? The Modern Symphony palette (£36.50) (ad-aff) is gorgeous, when I opened it up I audibly let out an oooooh and resembled the heart-eyed emoji! With three mattes and five shimmers in stunning mauves and plums, you can easily create day and night looks perfect for the festive season. I'm also a big fan of the packaging, with the watercolour artwork by Cecilia Carlstedt inspired by holidays in New York and the energy of dance. As a dancer, this really calls to me, and I also just had to the mention the other palette in this collection, the Golden Slipper palette (ad-aff) which has a beautiful ballet dancer on it.

BAYLIS & HARDING THE FUZZY DUCK SLOE GIN CANDLE

BAYLIS & HARDING CANDLES

When buying candles as a gift, I find that as long as you know what sort of fragrances they like, you can't really go wrong! So if your loved one loves alcohol inspired scents, read on...

I've mentioned this Baylis & Harding cocktail-inspired Sloe Gin candle (£12.50) (ad-aff) in previous gift guides, but just had to mention them again as they are just the most luxurious two wick candles I own! And as a candle lover, I own a few!

I'm so glad that they still do this range of cocktail-inspired candles especially as they last so long and let off the most amazing fragrances without being overpowering.
