There’s nothing that gets me excited like a new bit of stationary; a new pen to scribble away with, a new notepad with fresh clean sheets. My FiloFax is one of my must-have items to keep me going through my hectic life, but as some of you may know, the yearly inserts can get pretty expensive. So after putting off getting this year’s insert, I resorted to using my Benedict Cumberbatch 2015 wall calendar to keep on top of my personal life, and a notebook to keep on top of my blogging life. Having two separate places to note down things going on in my life is definitely not ideal. Especially if you lose one of them. So I was really craving somewhere where I could note down my personal and blogging events side by side, to see when I would be busy, when I would need to schedule posts, and the like.
TOAD (Today Or Any Day) saved me from this dilemma. They let you create your own personalised diaries and journals, meaning you can choose the cover, size, page layout and time period. You can also add your own text to the front and back- I went for a statement that is clearly true, because bloggers do do it best ;) Designing your diary on their website is super easy too, meaning you can get your diary on the way to you sooner rather than later! They’ve also brought out their hardback versions, so I’ll definitely be getting one of those once my current diary finishes!
I decided to go for this cute floral design, that’ll keep my spirits up during these cold winter months to come. I also chose to have a week on one page, and additional lined paper on the other. The space on the week page is great as I can space out my personal life from blog posts and other bloggy things that need doing. And the note page alongside it means I can jot down any ideas, Instagram posts and things I need to shoot or film.
It’s always so hard to find stationary that you a) like and b) suit your needs, so when you get the opportunity to create your own stationary for such a good price, you can’t really refuse!
