Christmas Gift Guide: Beauty Lovers

 The big day is fast approaching and so is the final day for deliveries! This will be my last gift guide on the blog for this year, but keep an eye out on my Youtube channel this Friday for a last-minute/stocking filler gift guide. 

For this last guide, we're tackling the beauty lovers in your life! There is always an abundance of beauty gift sets available at this time of year, so much so that there is sometimes too much choice! 

I've put together a little collection of some of my favourites from some of my favourite beauty companies, as well as some great sustainable options too.

TROPIC YOUR BEST SKIN BAUBLE

I've already mentioned Tropic's other gift options in my last gift guide, but had to mention their skincare baubles as they are such a cute little treat!

The Your Best Skin Baubles (£28) are packed full of little skincare goodies and you can choose between the Clear (blemish-prone skin), Nourish (mature skin) and my favourite, the Glow (tired dull skin) set to best suit your type of skin.

In each bauble, you get pretty much a full skincare routine's worth of products, as well as a bamboo face cloth for washing off the cleansers in the set, making it well worth the money! This isn't any old bauble guys...

EYLURE MAGNETIC LASHES

Eylure has always been one of my top lash brands, as they are so easy to apply for a first-timer, but what could get better about easy-to-apply lashes? Magnetic lashes! Read on and I'll explain...

Waiting for the glue to dry, and then applying them without resembling that a caterpillar has decided to take up residence on your face can still be a faff, so these Eylure lashes take out that faff with their patent-pending magnetic liner and lash system! All you have to do is apply the liner, wait for it to dry, and then the lashes will magically stick to the liner! It's absolutely genius, and great if you're a bit heavy-handed when applying glue. 

The other great thing as well, is that these last a lot longer than traditional lashes (up to 15 wears), meaning less waste! L'OCCITANE VERBENA MANDARIN RANGE

  

If your loved one loves a citrusy scent, then how about gifting them some products from this range? The normal Verbena range is beautiful, but L'Occitane have also brought out this limited edition Mandarin range for this time of year that smells like a Christmassy spice orange dream. 

For a subtle smelling pamper treat, the shower foam (ad-aff) (£15) and body cream (ad-aff) (£26) are a great pair to treat someone with, or for those who want more of a powerful scent that lasts on the skin, the Eau de Toilette (ad-aff) (£49) is a great choice!

LUSH SHOWER GEL SETS

Lush is back again (can you tell I just adore them)! As well as their usual wonderful Christmas bath bombs and bubble bars, they also have some wonderful sets featuring some of their other beauty products!

Let's take this Snow Showers shower gel set (£24) for example. In this set, you get three of their Christmas shower gels: Yog Nog, Roasting Chestnuts on an Open Fire and Sleepy, making this perfect for someone who loves all three, or have never tried them before as a little taster kit! 

I need to also mention the packaging it comes in, and Lush really deserve a round of applause for this. This box is made from mycelium (fungi) and hemp, so it is completely compostable, meaning no excess packaging that can't be recycled! 

REN GLOW TO GO SKINCARE SET

Let's get back to some skincare. REN have always had clean skincare in mind, and their Christmas Clean To Planet collection is no different. As well as creating skincare that is kind to your skin, their packaging has also been produced to leave as little impact on the planet as possible, as well as donating £1 from every set sold to Planet Patrol to help clean up our oceans and waterways worldwide. 

I particularly love the Glow To Go set (ad-aff) (£21), because who doesn't love glowy skin?! In this set you get the Daily AHA Tonic (acid exfoliation is great for your skin, even if you have sensitive skin like me), Vitamin C Gel Cream and the Glycolic Lactic Mask in travel friendly sizes, all to help exfoliate and brighten the skin ready for party season.

They have also partnered with German illustrator Lisa Tegtmeier to create these beautiful boxes that you can reuse after receiving this gift! 

IT COSMETICS ON-THE-GO BRUSH SET

Lastly, if your loved one loves makeup and is looking for some more tools to add to their collection, then this It Cosmetics set is worth a look at!
