OOTD: Learn To Love Again

So it's November. The time of year when you run back to the warm embrace of cosy jumpers and hot chocolate. But however much I like to protect myself in crazy leggings and leather trousers, I do like to get my legs out now and again, however cold it is! And I've done that with this outfit (well, kinda. Still not feeling that brave yet to go completely bare-legged)!

Lately, I've been adoring the wool and leather combo that I've seen in a lot of street style posts, so I thought I'd do my own spin on it! I chose a jumper and leather skirt combination, as I love how a wool jumper can dress down leather so easily! I actually wore this to a workshop, so it was a great mix of smart/casual, with the heel of the boots lifting the outfit.

This is actually quite a muted outfit for me, I'm usually one for a splash of colour. But actually, I think I've been converted! The simple lines and gold accessories are actually enough to make the outfit glam without going overboard! And it's also a perfect combo for this autumn/winter!

Are you guys fans of the simplistic look?
